We started Drikolor because we found a way to imbue indoor space with the complex quality of natural light.
Human beings have evolved to respond to the changing wavelengths of the sun during the course of the day. Full spectrum light regulates our circadian rhythms as well as our brain chemistry. It just feels right to be in the presence of natural light, and wall color technology captures some of the same qualities.
We do it by sourcing our raw materials from all over the world, rigorously seeking out the same integrity of materials used in fine art pigments. And, we blend many different pigments in each hue, so that light has more to respond to. That combination - innovative materials and a wide array of pigments - creates a kind of alchemy that arrives to the eye very differently than conventional paint.
Flat goes dimensional. The daylong stretch of light changes the room every hour. The multiple colors in what appears to be a single hue unify and harmonize all the elements in the room.
The space is transformed, and the way it feels to be there is too.
