LC 4320W le jaune vif Deep Base

from 75.00

In his earlier periods pure yellow served no function for Le Corbusier. It was not accepted among the purist colors of 1931. In color design yellow should be used with great care in order to avoid negative effects. Areas in yellow stand out; rooms in yellow appear smaller.

Yellow can stimulate the senses but it is very strongly dependant on the light. Among the 20 architecturally relevant colors of the more vivid and dynamic collection of 1959 Le Corbusier also defined a specific shade of yellow a sun yellow: le jaune vif. le jaune vif is a deep vivid yellow which has a particularly strong effect in pronounced light. The yellow color of the sun looks saturated and dynamic. It shines impressively in pronounced light.

In total Les Couleurs© ocres & jaunes comprize a total of three selected nuances of ochre and one yellow shade.
